Query by Haley M: How would schooling function for a foreign exchange pupil to Brazil?
I am thinking about being a foreign trade university student to Brazil. Their seasons are the opposite of ours. Their school year begins in the center of our school year (February) and ends in November. How does that operate for us? Do we just depart in the center of the year?

There are two ways you can do it. If you leave summertime departure in July (what I am performing) than you just begin in the center of their yr, shell out the summertime with your host household, and then go back again to college at the finish of getaway. They will either put you in the very same grade as you have been, or after holiday, they may transfer you up, so you can be with the very same men and women.
The other way, is to depart in the winter season- January ish. You get there, and then you commence with the rest of the school… however, then that messes up two of your college years at residence..,…
I suggest a summer time departure. That is what most folks do!
