Can you take Omega 3 pills while you are on other medication?

I am on adderall xr and abilify and want to know if i i am able to take the omega 3 along with the other two? i bought them and it says i should take 3000 mgs (3 pills) a day, so would that be alright while im taking other things?

    No problem. Omega 3 fish oil consumption is about the same as eating lots of fish.

    Hi,

    No problems with these drugs.

    The only restriction is when taking blood thinning medications, such as Coumadin, Plavix and others.
    In this case you may want to try Omega 3 from a vegetarian source, such as Clary sage seeds oil.
