Obviously Omega 3 is good for your brain and I want to get as many nutrients as possible. I know that you can have different vitamins to be healthy but I’d like to get them all. Is Omega 3 contained in anything but fish?
Thanks!

Flax seed oil had Omega 3 but no DHA and EPA which is why people take Omega 3 in the first place. You could take algae pills but when I took them they really messed with me I wouldn’t recommend it.

Flax seeds and walnuts have a high source of Omega3. Almost 150% of your DV can be found in flax seeds, and 94% in walnuts. Some symptoms that say you need more Omega3 are:
- Depression
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Fatigue
- Dry, itchy skin
- Brittle hair and nails
- Inability to concentrate
- Joint pain

Flax seeds, walnuts, sea vegetables (kelp, etc.)…
I throw some walnuts or flax seed in my cereal or oatmeal in the morning sometimes. I also toss in some ground flax seed when I make smoothies.

Flax and hemp foods are good sources.
Just remember to never, ever heat flax seed oil. You can use it in salad dressings or drizzle over vegetables.

I take Barlean’s Total Omega Vegan Swirl 1 tbsp a day. It tastes great, and has all the necessary omegas. I buy mine for 24 dollars at Vitamin Shoppe, the bottle lasts me about a month, but here’s a link to the company website:
