It's like the old Big Wheel but so much more fun. He has worn off a set of wheels. The worst part is that it was a last-minute Christmas gift and when it arrived two days before Christmas and my husband went to put it together, he realized that it didn't have all of the necessary parts to put it together. The company that we had purchased it from through Amazon (Fogdog) initially didn't want to issue a refund, but we were able to talk them into refunding us right away since it was almost Christmas and we needed the money we spent on this to purchase something locally to replace it. It certainly wasn't easy to get them to do this, but after much persuasion, they agreed to it. The condition was that we would send it back within 10 days using their prepaid label, which we did. <br /> <br />I don't feel like I can really comment much on whether or not this is a great item, since we didn't get to use it, but I thought it was important to note that if you are ordering one of these, you'll want to leave plenty of time to make sure that it has all of the parts and also that you may need to be a little pushy to get Fogdog to process the return in a timely fashion and meet your needs as the customer. I was expecting to be shipped in a plain brown box, with the actual bike box to be inside, so my son would have not seen the box with the bike in it. The rip-rider is delivered in a box covered in pictures of the product. Not such great packaging when the gift was to come from Santa and your 4 1/2 year old sees it on the porch before you do!!! Now his big gift from Santa will either need to be put away until his birthday in March or have to come from his grandparents. My one star is just to grab everyone's attention about the delivery process, so the same thing does not happen to anyone else. We have NOT actually put the bike together.
