Words can not really express how annoying this toy is. It was a gift for my toddler, who likes it well enough, I guess. Mostly it is just something new and different, but far from spectacular. It also goes against everything we look for in a toy. We will be trying to return it asap.

First, this toy is LOUD! Very loud, and the song is an ear-worm that you will find yourself humming. There is a volume control and an off switch, but my son knows where they are and can flip them easily. Next, it is very cheap plastic. I would not expect this toy to hold up to more than a year of moderate play. Finally, other than riding or pushing, there is not a lot of variation of play that can be achieved with this ride on toy. There are many others that are much better.

My mother bought this fire truck and the school bus for my twins second Xmas (they were 14mths). They were the hit of the day and played with almost every day for months. Now that they are 2 they play with their tricycles more, but still love these and pull them out at least once a week. A great deal for so much enjoyment!

The Fisher Price ride on fire truck was both my son’s and my grandson’s favorite first birthday present. At first, he will be able to lift the seat and hide little toys. Mom and Dad will have to help with the noise makers until his hands develop a little more coordination. It is stable for pulling up on and eventually for pushing before the child is able to walk independently. Eventually he will be all out, riding on it, pushing with his feet. Before he can push it with his own feet, they love to be pushed.

    They LOVE this toy.

My son got this for his 1st birthday that was 8 months ago. He plays with this truck every single day he loves. He laughs and giggles so hard when we play chase when he is driving his truck that alone is so worth this toy!!!!!

I purchased this fire truck for my one year old grandson, to say he loves it would be an understatement! What a super toy for the little ones to ride and learn with, thanks Fisher Price!
