You can find cheaper cases, but you won’t find one that fits the 340XL any better than this one. Very snug, but not so tight it doesn’t absorb shocks. In fact, I’ve dropped the unit on pavement twice while it was in the case – no evidence of damage on it all. Can’t ask for too much more than that.

Fantastic for protection of the GPS and the GPS only. Throw the strap away…it is just inconvenient and be careful opening the zipper, after it is zipped around the case it is difficult to zip back around to open it.

I’ve only had the occasion to use this once and I knew how to get there but I wanted to see how it would do. Well, I disregarded the first set of directions because it would have taken me a much different route than I normally take. When I didn’t go the suggested way it always gave me another route. When the unit realized where I was headed it performed great. I think these items will be used to pinpoint an exact address or location because most of the time we already have a general idea of how to get from point A to point B. I got this at a great price and it does give you peace of mind. Glad I bought it.

This is the 2nd Tom Tom One XL I have purchased. It is very affordable through Amazon rather than through Tom Tom Home web site. It performs well but the battery life of the non-replaceable battery is the draw back for me. For 2 1/2 hour trips I have to plug it in to the automobile power

I used my tomtom 3 times then it stoped working I wrote to amazon & informed them, Amazon sent me a new one in two days (new one works ok so far) but around town on routes I know, it gets me there but seems to take long way around.
