The magellan I used all of the addresses were not where they were supposed to be (close to a mile off at times, although could have been just that unit since i dont think they would let an error like that fly). The Garmin turning directions leave some things to be desired. They voice would say turn left when the map would either direct to the right or even straight ahead. Although garmin is praised at being the best their handheld units have issues too. <br /> <br />The Tomtom has not lead me astray yet. Directions are clear and concise (and given far enough in advance). The land guidance is awesome, takes the guess work out of the confusing four land exits in the biggers areas (ie. Baltimore). The IQ routes work great after just one or two trips it begins to find faster routes. The ability to put in your own map corrections is a god-send. I've been using the unit for about two months now and have found speed limits that are wrong and a few newer roads that were installed recently and didnt make it onto the recent quarterly map. It also warns you when your route has carpool lanes, toll roads, or dirt roads on your route and gives you the option to avoid them. Overall the biggest bang for your buck.
