It wasn't the GPS it was the merchant xtreme navigation. DON'T do business with them. I purchased a refurbished GPS. The first one they sent me the battery didn't charge. I returned it they sent me another one this time not only didn't the battery stay charged for more than 1 hour but after one use the maps n longer loaded. Returned again 3rd time never fails WRONG. They sent me the same one I returned to them the first time Battery still didn't charge and the software in it was different! I spent $35 in returning this item to them now I am waiting for them to give me a FULL refund - their policy says 20% restocking for returned items, but since the item is consistantly faulty I better not get charged - and yes I did ask for a new one they told me they didn't have any.
