Software is great. Maps are wonderful. It takes 30-75 minutes to find satellites so the device is useless.

as happens a lot with amazon anymore it appears….products says in stock… then you order it and a day or so later they come back and say NOT in stock… then you have to wait to get your money back…

very inconvenient – dont really use amazon that much anymore… sometimes just to compare prices to buy elsewhere because of things like this..

convenience and price are not what it use to be…. also dont like at all having to go through the whole thing to see what final pricing is including shipping tax etc… thanks

RECENTLY WE MADE A TRIP TO OUR SIERRA PROPERTY FROM THE BAY AREA. BEFORE LEAVING, I MADE SURE THE BATTERY WAS FULLY CHARGED WITH THE 110 VOLT CHARGER, SINCE THE OLD CAR I WAS DRIVING, THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER WAS NOT WORKING. THE BATTERY WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE A FOUR HOUR LIFE. ON INTERSTATE 80 JUST EAST OF SACRAMENTO APPROX A 2 1/2 HOUR DRIVE THE BATTERY WENT OUT. SOMETIMES I COULD PUSH THE BUTTON ON THE SCREEN AND BUY ABOUT 30 SECOND WORKING TIME. THE BATTERY WAS TIRED OUT. ON THE RETURN TRIP THE GPS WAS REALLY MESSED. I CHARGED BEFORE LEAVING THE SIERRA PROPERTY. WHILE TRAVELING ON HWY 89 SOUTH TOWARD TRUCKEE, THE UNIT WAS TRYING TO TELL I WAS TO BE ON BIG BEAR VALLEY ROAD. THERE IS NO SUCH ROAD IN OUR DRIVE. AFTER REACHING INTERSTATE 80 TOWARD THE BAY AREA JUST OUT OF TRUCKEE, THE SCREEN SHOWED THAT WE WERE DRIVING NEXT TO THE INTERSTATE AND TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD, THIS IS IN THE DONNER LAKE AREA. THE GPS LOST THE SATELITE CONNECTION MOST OF THE WAY UNTIL SACRAMENTO, BY THIS TIME THE BATTERY WAS GONE TOO. WHILE IN THE SIERRA WE DID A LOT OF HIKING ON THE PED MODE. LOST BATTERY NO WHERE TO PLUG IN-OUCH………
