I’m not sure yet, but Google already cancel the PR in the google webmaster tools, you can find that new in the search engine land..
Do you think is that possible? If so, the industry of billion dollors worth will go away….not only the link buy and sell, also many other way to measure the website…
I can see alot of upsides and downsides to this, firstly it’s NOT going to stop the link trade industry but it’s certainly going to hurt the broker businesses like TLA and website owners that sell on pagerank value only, it’s certainly going to cause a few issues for link buyers if they don’t have their own scoring metric and rely on PR as the only metric of link worth!

i am certain it will phase out! I have been in trouble before for being accused of selling links, but my search engine results stayed the same, as my page rank remained zero. I grew back my page rank on that site (nybs) but still, it has made me realize pr is not all that great.
And also, when link trading, webmasters say my site isnt good enough for a link exchange….but what if i have be

Yea, but if no such way to measure the website rank, how to make link trading then, according to the alexa? traffic? indexed pages? I’m not sure
