Chinese Internet company Tencent has confirmed that its search engine product Soso.com, which previously adopted Google’s search technology, has started to use its self-developed search technology.
According to Tencent, its new search technology, which is currently undergoing trial operation, aims to provide better and faster search experiences to users and to further improve Tencent’s one-stop Internet strategy.
At present, Soso.com has eliminated the words “provided by Google” in its search results pages, but the company said it will continue to cooperate with Google in the search sector in other areas.
